Vampire Academy

Vampire Academy by Rachelle Mead is one of my favourite series! It's about gaurdian ( not a gaurdian yet but a student) Rosemarie Hathaway who have to protect the last Dragmomire , princess Lisa. All royalty are Mori which is vampires. Rose have to protect Lisa from the strigoi who are once a mori or a dhampire. Forgot to mention but Dhampire are half mori who become gaurdians like Rose. So they usually become a strigoi if they were bit or want to become one. Moroi blood are the most precious blood and make strigoi strong and fast.



Rose's mother is a gaurdian too so she was put in the academy when she was little so her mother can focus on protecting her moroi. Rose's father is a moroi but moroi and dhampire never end up living happily ever after so Rose never got to know or meet her father. Moroi usally have feeders who have willing to let moroi feed off them.



The main story of this book is when Rose takes Lisa away from the academy when Lisa was threaten and brought back to the academy. Rose never got kicked out of the academy for taking Lisa away since Lisa and Rose had a bond when Lisa brought Rose back from the under world. But she had to catch up her training with one of the most top guardian, Dimitri. And worst of all Lisa was in danger since the person who threaten Lisa in the first place is still in the academy. And if you love romance, you'll love this book especially when Dimitri and Rose falls in love.
